Who We Are
Phoenix Therapies+ is a collective of individuals who have dedicated their careers to helping children through their communication and task-related issues. We started in 2019 with a focus on speech therapy, and built our reputation as a trusted practice on a foundation of caring and knowledgable therapists who continue to deliver proven results. In 2024, we were proud to expand our pediatric service offerings to include occupational therapy, education advocacy and tutoring, with a focus on convenience for you and your family.
We don’t view this as our occupation; this is who we are… helpers, advocates, problem-solvers. All with one goal in mind: Making your life, and the lives of your loved ones, better.

Speech Therapy
Are you having trouble understanding what your child says and are worried about the impact on their schoolwork and their interaction with friends? Does your child stutter? Speech Therapy can help!
Occupational Therapy
Is your child experiencing delayed fine motor skills, or is autistic and in need of sensory regulation? Our occupational therapists can help with the use of our sensory gym!
Tutoring & Education Advocacy
Is your child in need of a tutor? Does your student have dyslexia and could benefit from an Orton-Gillingham Plus literacy approach? Do you need help from a professional to understand your child’s recent IEP or 504 plan, and to help you advocate for your child in your meetings with school administrators? Our educators can help!
Executive Function coaching
Is your student experiencing challenges stemming from a recent concussion or ADHD? Are they struggling with assignments, or having trouble concentrating and retaining information? Our team can help!
Feeding Therapy
Do you notice that your child will only eat certain foods, making mealtime a challenge? Phoenix Therapies+ has speech and occupational therapists that specialize in feeding approaches to help you!

Payment Options
Currently accepting all Maryland pediatric Medicaid and Tricare East.
We are out of network for all other insurance companies, but we do accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Saving Account (HSA) cards. Superbills/receipts are available for possible reimbursement or out of network benefits depending on your insurance. We will provide you with the necessary codes you need when speaking with your insurance company during the consultation. Credit Card payment is due at time of service. Discounts available for siblings.
